The remodel of this home was inspired by a vision to build a micro-mansion bungalow. Complete with all the amenities and extravagances you’d find in a classic mansion, this bungalow is far from your average single-floor home.

The exterior walls and roof line were kept intact in order to maintain scale and suitability within the neighborhood. I reversed the layout, moving the kitchen to the back and the bedrooms towards the front. The garage was re-positioned and rebuilt as a multi-use space – it can be a garage or an additional entertaining space off from the pool.

The kitchen’s open shelving, stainless steel appliances, breakfast bar island and quartz counter-tops make it the ideal place for any aspiring chef to bring their creations to life. Collapsible accordion doors make the dining and living room area an entertainer’s delight. The additional pool house works beautifully as an extra social space outdoors or a peaceful home office.
